AFTER TUSSHAR KAPOOR, KARAN JOHAR DARES TO BE A SINGLE DADVIA SURROGACY

Not just with his brand of cinema, but filmmaker Karan Johar is getting bolder in his real life too and his recent off-screen bold move is sure to leave you gobsmacked.

The usually cautious Bollywood filmmaker sent the media in a frenzy when he recently announced to the world that he has become a father to twins – a boy and a girl – via surrogacy.

The Badrinath Ki Dulhania producer introduced his children as Roohi and Yash and said “I am ecstatic to share with you all the two most wonderful additions to my life, my children and lifelines; Roohi and Yash. I feel enormously blessed to be a parent to these pieces of my heart who were welcomed into this world with the help of the marvels of medical science.”

According to reports, Karan Johar’s babies were born last month at Masrani Hospital where Shah Rukh Khan's third child AbRam was delivered through surrogacy.

Karan said in a statement, “This was an emotional yet a well thought out decision which I have taken after considering all the responsibilities and duties that come with being a parent. I have submitted to the fact that my children are my world and priority.”

Well, looks like Tusshar Kapoor, who too became a single parent through surrogacy last year has set the trend for single dads in Bollywood.
