CM grants solatium to kin of road accident victims

CHENNAI: Chief Minister ‘Edappadi’ K Palaniswami on Saturday granted a solatium of D1 lakh to each of the families of seven persons who died in separate road accidents near Thirumayam and at Malaikudipatti village in Pudukkottai district on May 11 and 12.

In the second accident, 16 people suffered injuries. The Chief Minister said those who suffered serious injuries would be given D50,000 while those with  minor injuries would receive D25,000. ens
